Bridle Ridge BoardwalkSilver Valley, Maple Ridge
Located in Silver Valley, the Bridle Ridge Boardwalk and trail system spans over 12 km through the swamp and forest. Built within a year, the boardwalk required custom extended ground screws in order to maintain its structure and durability. In addition to the main boardwalk, our crews installed a bridge crossing and wooden benches for forest bathers and bird watchers alike. Installed also by our trail crew, the boardwalk connects to the extensive trail network.
Our vision was to enhance the newly built neighborhood with versatile and beautiful outdoor features that will provide endless family activities, outdoor adventures, and appreciation for the natural environment. Throughout the construction of the boardwalk and trails, we collaborated with local environmental consultants to ensure the natural ecosystem was preserved and protected.

Ground Screw Installation
Here is our team installing the ground screws for the boardwalk. Ground screws are a simple and effective foundation for any structure. They also offer a greener and environmentally-friendly alternative to concrete.
Walk Through Nature
The boardwalk was constructed through the Blaney Bog Regional Reserve. The reserve protects 124 hectares of mostly wetlands. It provides habitat for a variety of animals including deer, beavers, coyotes, amphibians, sandhill cranes, green herons, great blue herons and American bitterns.
Boardwalk Framing
Joists running along the entire length of the boardwalk for structural integrity
Ground Screws
Ground screws are used as the foundation for the boardwalk with minimal disruption to the environment.
