Bridging the gap between casual fine dining and breakfast, our team was excited to be a part of The Hard Bean Brunch Co.’s mission to bring an innovative, welcoming, and family friendly restaurant to Port Moody. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, construction was put on pause for three years up until late 2021. In order to open up as soon as possible, our highly organized project management team efficiently and seamlessly coordinated the construction schedule between our contracting division, the owners, sub trades, architects, engineers, designers, and city officials.

Our contracting division built the patio area and interior structure of the entrance, bar area, dining area, commercial kitchen and all-gender bathrooms. At the heart of the restaurant, we constructed the sports bar is featured with a marble countertop, foot railings, and a drop-down ceiling. We also installed the wooden fixtures around the restaurant including the wooden awning, side board, and siding panels. Finally, we added the finishing touches with custom furniture, wallpaper, and an official Hard Bean surfboard.

Custom Wood Finishings

These custom wood panel ceilings were a fantastic addition to the restaurant. Made out of cedar, these panels create a natural and warm decorative touch.

When our team got the green light, we were fortunate enough to have a blank canvas to work with. The entire project including coordinating and building the state-of-the-art kitchen, storage, bathrooms, sports bar, dining room, and outdoor entertainment space.
