Mini Golf & New Front Yard
Residential Homeowner Project
Seeing this project come together was a blast, especially since we were strictly focused on leveling up the entertainment factor with the new mini-golf course and that crisp front lawn. It’s always satisfying when a specific addition like a putting green completely transforms the energy of an existing backyard.
Up For A Quick Game?
We wanted the new mini-golf area to feel like a natural extension of the poolside lounge. By installing the green right at the edge of the patio, we created a seamless flow between the water and the "fairway." It really rounds out the resort-style vibe the homeowners were going for without cluttering the space.
The vibrant green of the turf we used provides a great visual contrast to the blue of the pool. We made sure the transition between the concrete and the synthetic grass was perfectly flush to avoid any trip hazards during those summer pool parties. It’s the kind of addition that makes you want to grab a putter the second you dry off.
The Envy Of The Neighbourhood
Moving to the front of the house, the new artificial lawn we installed completely changes the curb appeal. It’s a bold, clean look that complements the white siding and black trim of the home. No more worrying about brown spots or weeds; it’s going to look exactly like this every single morning.
We made sure to cut the turf precisely around the porch and the driveway to give it that "built-in" look. The height of the grass is just right—long enough to look natural but short enough to stay tidy. It’s the ultimate low-maintenance solution for a busy household that still wants a "Best in Neighborhood" lawn.
Admiring The Cutting Edge Details
Looking down the length of the green, you can see the subtle break we built into the surface. We didn't want it to be a straight shot every time, so we added some slight "character" to the sub-base before laying the turf. It’s these small details that make the mini-golf course feel like a real challenge rather than just a backyard toy.
The perimeter of the green is surrounded by a slightly longer-blade turf that acts as a natural border. It holds the "putting" surface in place and helps catch any stray balls before they hit the fence or the driveway. It’s a tidy, self-contained system that adds a lot of value to the property’s recreation options.
